THE WELLBEING WAY PRACTITIONERS
Robyn Hopkinson

Personal TrainerRobyn is a qualified personal trainer, with a passion for the outdoors. Her passion for rehabilitative fitness came from when she broke her back snowboarding. On her back and in rehabilitation for months on end, she felt quite disillusioned with her life. “I guess I realised how quickly one’s life can change and how important it is to appreciate every moment that we have, and to be passionate about what we do. It was this change in my life that pushed me into the fitness scene. My dream is to encourage “well-being” within individuals by showing them how to love exercise, particularly with the amazing outdoor facilities and beauty we have in Cape Town. I am passionate about exercise – there is nothing more satisfying than completing a great outdoor trail run, or a good walk in the forest to keep both one’s body and mind sane!” |

Adie Shub

Intuitive HealerAdie Shub is a well renowned body/mind esoteric intuitive healer who has been practicing for the past three decades. She works directly on the body through the medium of massage and deep skeletal release points. Through this medium holding patterns of repressed anger, grief, guilt and fear relating to unexpressed emotions from early childhood to the present moment are released, as the body does not lie."Our cellular memory holds each experience within our body. We are taught by society that it is not ok to express our anger and grief, and see that by denying our emotions, we get approval. By swallowing our feelings, we create havoc within our energy fields and this in turn creates blockages, pain and disease. Our body is trying to send us messages all the time about what is going wrong in the subconscious mind. We need only listen." |

KinesiologistJoy is The Wellbeing Way’s Applied Kinesiologist and take it from me- she is fabulous. She has helped me out many times when my body has been under strain- and I can personally recommend her. Not only does she radiate love and kindness, but her healing hands give the body the much needed respite it so desperately needs. She also works with children and animals- so you can pretty much take the whole family to her... |
