About Me
My name is Dr Jacqui Davies. I am a Medical Doctor who has a passion for well-being i.e. health in all aspects of ones life; physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

Using a combination of Western Medicine, Nutrition, Naturopathy, Energy Medicine, Body Alignment, Meditation and Kinesiology, I practise Integrated Medicine to help patients achieve their optimum health.
My Training
I obtained my medical degree at the University of Cape Town and completed my subsequent training at various state hospitals in Johannesburg and Cape Town. I then moved to London, working in Psychiatry, Paediatrics and Gynaecology whilst completing diplomas in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Family Planning, and specialising in Women’s Health. I returned to Cape Town to start my practice in General Integrated Medicine, with a special interest in Women and Well-being.
To complement my background in medicine, I completed my first course in Reiki when I was 18. Since then I have continued to study various complementary modalities of healing including Body Alignment and other forms of Applied Kinesiology. Energetic Medicine is a base for much of my practice, as well as teaching patients how to work with their own energetic systems and intuition. I have travelled extensively around the world, studying, working, and personally experiencing healing in many of its forms, with numerous medical professionals and healers.
My Beliefs
Through my patients, studies and travels, I have come to believe that all forms of therapy have a role to play in a person’s health and well-being. Modern medicine and its advances have enabled us to cure many diseases, and control many more. Therefore my feet are very firmly based in Western Medicine and all it has to offer. What I have also realised though, is it definitely does not have all the answers. There is so much we have yet to understand about our bodies and how they work.
One of my fundamental beliefs is that illness is our body and soul’s way of telling us that something needs to change. The trick is to figure out just what it is saying. To shift forward into a state of positive health, we need to know the cause or causes of our disease. Is it an inherited disease, a result of our lifestyle, or an unresolved emotional experience that is causing the imbalance?
There are usually numerous causes as to why one is ill- and many ways to approach it. Looking at a disease from one angle might give us a temporary solution but, more often than not, it requires us to look at it from many angles.
One only need look at the ever- increasing amount of cancer and auto-immune problems to see that something is out of balance. Look around and see how many people are suffering from chronic fatigue, depression, high blood pressure, to name but a few ailments. These new roles we are playing, and the modern world that we are living in, are calling for a different approach. This applies not only to how we heal ourselves, but to how we live our lives.
My Main Goal
