Full Consultation with Dr Jacqui Davies

During your initial Full Consultation, Dr Jacqui Davies will look at all aspects of your health. Each consultation is different and there is no standard programme other then the fact you will be given a plan to take home with you.
Her ultimate goal is to help you to become of aware of what your body, mind and spirit are telling you. To help you discover what you as an individual need so that you will be left with the skills and knowledge required to read your own life.
Depending on your individual needs this may include:
- A full medical assessment and suggestion of blood or other tests
- Nutrition and supplement evaluation
- Medication assessment: Western, Chinese and Naturopathic
- Exercise evaluation
- Body Alignment / Kinesiology
- Stress management , relaxation techniques and meditation
- Spiritual alignment
- Goal setting: short and long term
After each appointment you will receive a plan:

You may choose to have a once off assessment and simply e-mail or Skype Dr Davies if you need help in the future, or you may choose to carry on making changes. This follow up time varies from person to person but as a standard is usually 4, 8 or 12 weeks, depending on how much input you need or want.
Most follow-up appointments will be 15-30 minutes. If at any stage you need more time, this will be scheduled in.
Through this process it might be necessary for you to receive specialist input. Dr Davies currently works with many skilled practitioners in Cape Town from both western and the complementary fields of medicine. If you are based in the UK, USA or another country, many of these practitioners are able to work online or she might suggest you see a specialist in your area if that is required. It also may be suggested you see a personal trainer or nutritionist; do a meditation course; have a massage; or possibly see a life coach. It is all a work in progress to learn what suites your body perfectly, so that one acquires the skills to live life to the full.
You will gradually learn just what you as an individual need to optimise your well-being.
4. Long term
Dr Davies’s ultimate goal is to leave you with the skills and knowledge necessary to take control of your own health. She will work with you until you are ready to go off on your own. This is usually 3-6 months, but the time length varies considerably from person to person.
As you learn to read your own body and life, less and less input will be needed as you get closer to Loving the Life you Live.
